including\u00a0<em>Tradition and Change in Africa<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>African Writers and Readers<\/em>. He is the co-editor of the\u00a0<em>Journal of African Economic History<\/em>, Series Editor of\u00a0<em>Rochester Studies in African History and the Diaspora<\/em>, and the Series Editor of the\u00a0<em>Culture and Customs of Africa<\/em>\u00a0by Greenwood Press.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"c0\">For his singular and distinguished contribution to the study of Africa, his students and colleagues have presented him with three Festschriften &#8211; two edited by Adebayo Oyebade,\u00a0<em>The Transformation of Nigeria: Essays in Honor of Toyin Falola<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>The Foundations of Nigeria: Essays in Honor of Toyin Falola<\/em>, and one edited by Akin Ogundiran,\u00a0<em>Pre-Colonial Nigeria: Essays in Honor of Toyin Falola<\/em>.
